- Brbinj is the only place on the island where a ferry docks – a ship for transporting vehicles and passengers (www.jadrolinija.hr). The ferry departs from the port of Zadar Gaženica
- There are also catamaran lines from the port of Zadar Poluotok to the villages Sali, Zaglav, Brbinj and Božava (https://www.adamo.hr/reach-dugi-otok)
- The largest number of restaurants, cafes and shops on the island is located in Sali
- The only supermarket is located in Sali - TOMMY, and its working hours in the summer months (July and August) are until 10:00 PM. Most of the villages on the island have a small shop open for a period of June to September
- Zaglav is the only gas station on the island (3 km from Sali)
- Bicycles, cars, scooters, boats, cars and kayaks can be rented on the island
- ATMs are located in Salim and Božava
- There are 3 post offices on the island (Sali, Božava, Veli rat) where you can also withdraw money
- The only pharmacy on the island is located in Sali
- Boat trips to Kornati National Park depart from Sali or Zaglav, and tickets can be purchased at our office in Sali; we also accept mail or telephone reservations
- There is a possibility of organizing big game fishing from Sali
